Terms of engagement

These terms govern sittings arranged with Cortex Harvest Financial Planning, the practice registered under that name and established in 2015, at Tambon Lum Phu, Amphoe Mueang Narathiwat, Narathiwat 96000. By asking for a sitting, paying a deposit, or attending a sitting, you accept these terms. The written fee note for your engagement prevails if it names a different date, place, or fee.

The engagement

A sitting is professional time spent writing a cash position, a thirty-day review, a seasonal reserve, or a collection and payment calendar for your business. The scope, the number of meetings, and the fee are those described on the sitting page and restated in the fee note. Daily bookkeeping, tax filing, audit, payroll, lending, and investment recommendations are outside every engagement unless a fee note says otherwise, and our ordinary notes do not say otherwise.

You agree to bring the papers listed for the sitting, including the passbook or a readable copy of it. Where a figure is missing, the sheet will show a blank. You are responsible for the decisions you take after reading the sheet, including orders, wage payments, and any conversation you later have with a lender.

Fees and deposit

Fees are quoted in Thai baht and confirmed in writing before a deposit is taken. The deposit is thirty percent of the agreed fee and holds the first date. The balance is due at the second sitting, or on the day of the sitting when the engagement has only one meeting. Travel outside Amphoe Mueang Narathiwat is an extra sum written on the same note. We do not take payment through this website.

Your papers and our sheets

You keep ownership of your passbooks, invoices, and the finished cash position prepared for your business. You may use that finished sheet inside your business and show it to your bookkeeper, your tax preparer, or your bank. The blank working forms, the order of the sittings, and the notes we write for our own file remain the property of Cortex Harvest Financial Planning. Please keep those blank forms inside the engagement rather than handing them on as someone else’s method.

The text and photographs on cortexharvest.click are owned by the practice unless a credit says otherwise. You may share a link to a page. Please ask before copying a page onto another site.

Conduct of sittings

Sittings are by appointment, Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00–16:30, at the Lum Phu office or at your shop when that was agreed. If you want to cancel or move a date, the refund and cancellation note explains the notice we need. We may end an engagement if the passbook is withheld after we have asked for it, or if a sitting becomes abusive. In that case the refund note explains what is returned.

Liability

We prepare the sheet from the papers and the explanations you give us. We do not guarantee a particular closing balance, a season’s takings, or the conduct of your customers and suppliers. To the extent Thai law allows, our liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fee you paid for that engagement. Nothing in these terms limits liability that Thai law does not allow us to limit, including liability for deliberate misconduct.

Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in the privacy notice. The cookie record is described on the cookies page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. The courts of Thailand have jurisdiction over disputes arising from a sitting or from use of this website. If a court sets one sentence aside, the remaining sentences continue.
