Who it is for

Owner-run groceries, food stalls, tailors, fishing-supply counters, and rubber smallholdings in Narathiwat province that have one till, a short list of staff, and bills that often fall in the same week.

What you leave with

You leave with a paper sheet of thirteen weeks: opening cash, expected receipts, wages, rent or stall fee, supplier settlements, a tax set-aside, closing cash, and a mark on any week that falls under the cash floor you named.

Where and with whom

The office at Tambon Lum Phu, Amphoe Mueang Narathiwat, Narathiwat 96000, or at your shop if the till cannot be left

Arun Chaiyaporn leads each sitting. Malee Wongsuwan prepares the figures the day before from the papers you brought.

Fixed fee for the whole engagement, stated in writing before any deposit. The figure on this page is the ordinary fee. Travel outside Amphoe Mueang Narathiwat, and a second till, are written on the note before a deposit is taken. See the fee note.

Included

  • An opening sitting of about two hours
  • A draft thirteen-week cash position within five working days
  • Four follow-up sittings across the twelve weeks
  • One revised sheet after the first month, when the till has been compared with the draft
  • The finished sheet left with you on paper
  • Travel inside Amphoe Mueang Narathiwat

Outside this sitting

  • Daily bookkeeping and entry of sales
  • Tax returns, VAT filings, and correspondence with the Revenue Department
  • Loan applications and introductions to lenders
  • Advice on investments, insurance, or securities
  • Calculating wages or preparing wage envelopes
  • An audit of past years

How the sitting runs

  1. 1

A note or a telephone call

Tell us what the shop sells and which district it sits in. We answer within two working days with the fee and a list of papers.

  2. 2

The fee in writing, then a deposit

You see the fee and the paper list before any money changes hands. A deposit of thirty percent holds the first sitting.

  3. 3

    Opening sitting

We read the bank book together, list who still owes the shop, and you name the cash floor — the amount you will not go below.

  4. 4

    Draft sheet

Within five working days you receive the thirteen weeks on paper. We walk the thin weeks with you at the next sitting, not by a long letter.

  5. 5

    Follow-up sittings

Four sittings compare the draft with what the till actually did. Payments that moved, and customers who paid late, are written onto the remaining weeks.

  6. 6

    Revision and hand-back

After the first month the remaining weeks are rewritten. At the last sitting the sheet stays with you. We keep a copy with the working papers.

Bring with you

  • Passbook or bank book covering the last eight weeks
  • A list of customers who still owe the shop, with the amounts
  • Supplier statements and the day each supplier expects to be paid
  • The wage list and the weekday wages leave the till
  • Rent, stall fee, and any loan instalment already committed
  • The cash floor you want held

Bounds of the work

  • The sheet is written only when you will show the bank book or passbook and the list of unpaid bills.
  • Shops with more than one branch outside Narathiwat province are outside this engagement. We will say so before a deposit is taken.
  • A second till or a second shop lengthens the sheet. The revised fee is written down before the deposit.
  • Travel outside Amphoe Mueang Narathiwat is quoted on the same note as the fee.

The next step

Write with the shop’s trade and the district. We reply within two working days with this fee restated and the paper list. The deposit is thirty percent, and only after you have the note.
